Anderson Walk-In Medical Clinic was founded in 1991 by John R. Munro M.D... The clinic is still currently owned by Dr. Munro; however Dr. Munro retired 5 years ago after practicing medicine for over 50 years.
The clinic now employs: 2 Physicians, 4 Mid-Level Practitioners, 5 Medical Assistants, 1 LVN, 5 Front Office Receptionists & 1 Clinic Administrator to serve our patients 7 days a week.
In the past year the clinic has undergone a lot of physical changes from the paint & wall hangings to the new Express Care patient flow system.
Patients that are seen for minor complaints are processed into the Express Care track. This allows the patient to sign in, be seen by a medical provider and checked out within 30 minutes. A patient needing to be seen for pink eye is no longer waiting in a waiting room for 2 hours. Along with the benefit of a timely office visit comes the reduced office visit price. You are no longer charged the same price as a patient needing to be seen for chest pain. Express Care offers a much lower price for those patients that fit into the Express Care category.
This new system has become a huge asset to all of our patients.
