TAYLOR GUITARS - 800 SERIES
Call them quintessential Taylors, the direct descendants of Bob Taylor's first designs, the guitars that have defined the unique look and feel of a Taylor to guitarists all over the globe. Quartersawn Indian rosewood backs and sides and our highest-grade Sitka spruce tops give these guitars their tonal clarity even when played hard. Growing numbers of players are excited by the 800 Series' acoustic/electric possibilities, which is why we've enhanced cutaway models with Fishman® Prefix Stereo Blender™ pickup systems. Crisp white binding frames every edge of the body and neck, two-piece pearl inlays grace the ebony fretboard, and an optional sunburst top adds drama to what many would call our classic series. Special Editions We Offer You Here An Overview of our Special Edition Guitars
C.F. Martin Sr. set up his shop and handcrafted the original Stauffer Guitar way back in 1833. Now 169 years later Christian Frederick Martin IV has taken on the creative challenge that inspired his forebears and developed the CEO Series of guitars. The CEO-4 Sunburst and the CEO-512-fret have all the features that made the Martin name famous around the world: Quality craftsmanship, innovative use of woods, and the famous Martin sound all combine to make the CEO Series very special guitars.
The Golden Era® instruments drew inspiration from the renowned vintage Martin guitars made prior to World War II. Many collectors believe tha the pre-war Martin guitars were the finest acoustic string instruments ever made. Like the guitars of the pre-war era, the Golden Era guitars recreate that unique almost magical blend of well chosen materials, optimized design and quality construction in a modern guitar.
Traditionally Martin has been a company who understands the importance of conserving our environment. The environment inspires our company to innovate and create guitars that have the famous Martin sound, but are made from woods and materials that conserve our natural resources. The SWDGT and the SWOMGT use woods from forests that are ecologically managed. The Alternative X makes use of man made materials to produce a guitar that is easy to play.
