Cosmetology Curriculum
The entire course requires 1500 hours and can be completed in approximately 10 months for the full time student or about 18 months for the part time students. High school juniors and seniors would attend part time (students would spend 1/2 of each day at Premier and 1/2 of each day at H.S.). The first 200 hours are devoted to general theory classes and to practical work done on mannequins.
After completing basic training the student is allowed to work on the clinic floor under the supervision of licensed instructors. All students are required to attend three theory classes each week as required by the Indiana State Board of Cosmetology.
Enrollment Procedures:
Persons wishing to enroll in our college are invited to come in and tour our facility, to meet the staff and ask any questions, by appointment.

Tuition payments are due on, or before the 25th of each month. Late payments are subject to a penalty.

Requirements
- Complete an application form and submit $25.00 fee. You will be contacted by phone upon your acceptance.
- Fill out contract and pay appropriate deposit (deadline 15th of month prior to start of new class).
- Attend the orientation, usually given one week prior to classes starting.
- Applicant must have completed the 10th grade or passed an equivalency test, and be prepared to furnish proof.
- Must be 18 years of age by the time course work is completed, and must furnish proof.
- Must complete all requirements and pass a pre-state test with a score of at least 85%.
