Gondola, is a type of display shelving. There are two avenues to explore when searching for avenues to display your product on retail shelving. New, and Used. Of course new has advantages, and disadvantages. New is untouched, and a good beginning to a new business, and it's costly, and on average you will wait 3 weeks, sometimes longer. Used shelves is a great way to save time, and money when purchased wisely. Used will contain minor scratches, dings and dents, but overall it will still perform for what you need it to do the most, and that’s to be display shelving. |
 | Gondola shelving, is great for grocery stores, and convenience stores. Works great in pawn shops, and beauty supply and most retail locations. Retail shelving comes in several colors, heights, and depths. This display shelving comes in many colors, but the most common is almond (off white, light beige, tan). Height is another issue. Many retailers often want bigger and better. Keep in mind the most honest customer is one you can see at all times, so choosing taller gondola shelving will prohibit you from that. Depths vary from 12” deep, which is common in small convenience stores, to pawn shops and grocery stores who prefer to have large bases, usually 22” deep. More… Used gondola shelving is an art.
