The Woodlands provides a setting in which residents can live in comfort and dignity. They each enjoy the privacy of having their own suite, plus the security of a fully trained and caring support staff just a few steps away, 24 hours a day. Each well-appointed suite has its own locked entrance for maximum privacy. The suites also feature important safety features such as emergency medical alert systems, individual smoke detectors and walk-in showers with grab bars and built-in shower seats.

The value of The Woodlands is just one of the reasons we are such a wise choice for seniors.  There are no hidden costs, buy-in fees or pre-paid leases.  Your monthly fee and small one-time move in fee affords you the choice of your private apartment complete with private bathroom with walk-in shower, three delicious homemade meals a day in our gracious dining room, a host of fun and interesting social, spiritual and recreational activities, weekly housekeeping and laundry, scheduled transportation, 24 hour emergency response system, utilities and so much more.  Assistance with medications, bathing, dressing, incontinence care and other daily needs are also available.  But, the best example of our value is how we value you.  We look forward to assisting you and your family.

• Private, carpeted suites with individually controlled heat and air conditioning. Each suite has an emergency medical call system, smoke detector and private bath with a grab bar and shower seat. Residents provide their own furniture and personal mementos to give each suite a home-like, familiar feel.
• A single-story floor plans that are fully accessible to wheelchairs and walkers.
• Wide, carpeted corridors with walls adorned by colorful, tasteful artwork.
• An elegant dining room that features linen tablecloths, meals served on fine china and a piano to serenade diners. A skylight lets the sun shine in as residents enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Guest meals and room service are also available.
• A self-serve beverage bar is open 24 hours                                

A grand main foyer with vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace that glows on chilly winter nights. Settings of sofas, overstuffed chairs and tables are grouped to encourage conversation, card games and other forms of social interaction among residents.

We offer four levels of care to assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence care and daily grooming.  Assistance with medication is also available. 

Because no two individuals have the same needs, personalization is at the core of our approach.  Continual monitoring ensures that each resident receives the care and support that is optimal for his or her physical and psychological health.  Our residents benefit from a care team who acts with skill, kindness and respect for individual dignity.

Special Care

The Woodlands has a separate, secured community devoted exclusively to the special needs of those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related impairments.   A state-of-the-art , key controlled security system regulates access to and from the community.   Our sunny, homelike rooms encourage a sense of security in a caring environment.  A full-time Person-Centered Care Coordinator is on staff to ensure that our residents receive quality care that creates the lifestyle of their individual needs and desires.  Activities and daily care are combined based on each resident's needs, likes and abilities.  So even though memory and physical abilities may be challenged, one can still live a fulfilled life with dignity under our watchful, gentle care.
